Chairman CDA Visits and Reviews Progress on Islamabad Jail Project

Islamabad – October 18, 2026: Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA), Sohail Ashraf, visited the Islamabad Jail project site to review the progress of ongoing construction work and assess the project's status and timeline for completion. During the visit, the Chairman CDA was accompanied by the Director General (Services), CDA, the concerned Assistant Commissioner, and senior officials of Islamabad Jail. He inspected various sections of the facility and reviewed the progress of construction work and the development of essential infrastructure. Chairman CDA was briefed on the project's progress and held discussions with the relevant officials regarding the quality of construction and adherence to the prescribed standards. He directed the concerned officials to ensure the timely completion of the project in strict accordance with the approved timelines while maintaining high standards of quality. The visit of Chairman CDA Sohail Ashraf reflects CDA's commitment to closely monitoring key infrastructure projects and ensuring their timely completion through effective coordination and supervision.
