ISLAMABAD: February 4, 2026: A free medical camp was organized on Wednesday in Hansa Colony, Sector G-8/1, under the auspices of the Islamabad Employees Social Security Institution (IESSI) for the health and well-being of minorities and deserving persons in the Federal Capital, Islamabad. The camp was attended by Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, as the chief guest. The local Christian community and schoolchildren warmly welcomed Chairman CDA, Chief Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa and other guests at the ceremony. The Medical Camp was organized specifically to address the medical needs of deserving individuals residing in minority-populated areas of the Capital City, Islamabad. At this free medical camp, approximately 700 to 1000 patients were provided with free diagnosis along with free medicines. Chairman CDA also visited the free medical camp and dispensary set up under IESSI. On this occasion, Chairman CDA appreciated IESSI's initiative for minorities in the Federal Capital, Islamabad, said that the purpose of this effort is to ensure the provision of health facilities to all segments of society. Chairman CDA said that this time, a minority colony was specifically chosen so that its residents could have better access to medical facilities. He said that organizing such camps can serve humanity while also playing a positive role in our society. Chairman CDA directed the district administration to arrange such camps in other parts of the city as well so that access to quality medical facilities can be made available to as many deserving people as possible. During the ceremony, Commissioner IESSI, Rabia Aurangzeb, expressed special thanks to the Chairman CDA and senior officers said that the purpose of this medical camp is not limited to workers alone but also includes minorities and underprivileged classes in medical services. At the conclusion of the ceremony, free medical kits were distributed among the patients. Commemorative shields were also presented to the chief guests and other supporters. Furthermore, at the end of the ceremony, Chairman CDA and participants reiterated their commitment to continue important health-related initiatives and humanitarian service programs in society.
