ISLAMABAD: November 15, 2025: In line with the directions of Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, CDA’s grand operation against illegal constructions and encroachments continues robustly across the Federal Capital. An anti-encroachment operation was carried out in the adjoining areas of the Diplomatic Enclave under the supervision of Deputy Director General Enforcement Dr. Anam Fatima. According to details, the operation targeted elements of the land mafia and illegal occupants, resulting in the peaceful retrieval of 42 kanals of state land so far. The action was conducted after completing all legal formalities, including the issuance of prior notices to illegal occupants. The operation was executed by the CDA Enforcement Directorate with the support of the district administration and Islamabad Police. Modern satellite imagery from SUPARCO was also used to enhance monitoring accuracy. The advanced satellite data is being obtained to ensure timely identification of illegal constructions and encroachments throughout Islamabad. Heavy machinery was deployed during the operation for the removal of unauthorized structures. The CDA administration reaffirmed that the ongoing drive against illegal constructions and encroachments will continue with full consistency. Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa emphasized that every possible measure will be taken to completely eliminate illegal occupations. He directed the concerned departments to ensure long-term arrangements to protect the recovered land from any future encroachments. He added that actions against illegal encroachments are vital for maintaining the city’s beauty and promoting organized urban planning. Stressing a zero-tolerance policy, he instructed that strict action must be taken against illegal constructions, encroachments, and the land mafia. The Chairman reiterated that the ultimate goal is to make Islamabad one of the most beautiful and well-planned cities in the world. The CDA administration has appealed to citizens to cooperate fully with the relevant departments during the anti-encroachment campaign. Citizens have also been urged to immediately report any instances of illegal occupation to the authorities concerned.
