Islamabad: March 17, 2026: In line with the directions of the Prime Minister of Pakistan to facilitate public sector employees, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has taken proactive steps to ensure the timely disbursement of salaries to all its employees well before the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr. Chairman CDA has directed all concerned formations, including Finance Wing and Accounts Offices, to expedite the salary processing and disbursement mechanism so that officers and staff members receive their salaries prior to the commencement of Eid holidays. This initiative aims to provide financial ease to CDA employees, enabling them to make necessary arrangements for Eid and celebrate the occasion with dignity and peace of mind. The Authority has made special administrative arrangements to streamline internal processes, ensuring that there are no delays in salary transfer across all directorates and formations of CDA. Strict monitoring mechanisms have also been put in place to ensure timely compliance by all concerned offices. While ensuring facilitation of employees, CDA is simultaneously adhering to the austerity measures announced by the Federal Government. In compliance with these directives, any additional benefits have been discontinued for the time being in view of the austerity measures announced by the Federal Government and as directed by the Honourable Interior Minister. The CDA management remains committed to maintaining a balance between employee welfare and financial prudence. The Authority is strictly observing cost-control measures, rationalizing expenditures, and ensuring efficient utilization of public resources in line with the broader policy framework of the Government of Pakistan. It is reiterated that CDA will continue to take all necessary steps to facilitate its workforce while upholding principles of transparency, accountability, and fiscal discipline. The timely disbursement of salaries before Eid reflects the Authority's commitment towards the welfare of its employees, even in a challenging financial environment
