Capital Development Authority Announces Open Auctions for Prime Hotel and Petrol Pump Sites in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD, October 7, 2026 – The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is having open auctions of Hotel Plots and Petrol Pump Sites for commercial real estate, featuring premium hotel plots and designated petrol pump sites. The auctions are scheduled over two consecutive days, October 12 and 13, 2026, at the Jinnah Convention Center in Islamabad. Open Auction of Hotel Plots On October 12, 2026, at 10:00 am, the CDA will auction five hotel plots positioned in prime sectors to address the rising demand for luxury hospitality and reinforce Islamabad's infrastructure for conferences and tourism. Plot Locations: * Plot No. 22 located in D-12 Markaz. * Convention Center Hotel Plot No. 6 located in F-5/1. * Five Star Hotel Plot No. 8 located in F-5/1. * A hotel plot located in the E-11 Northern Strip. * A hotel plot situated on the Srinagar Highway, positioned between the Sports Complex and Margalla Hotel. Investor Benefits and Terms: * Successful bidders can take advantage of an easy 1-year flexible payment schedule. * Building plan approvals are granted upon a 25% deposit. * Possession is handed over upon 75% payment, subject to providing a valid bank guarantee from a local scheduled bank for the remaining balance. * A 5% rebate is awarded on the total payment if made within 30 days. * An additional 5% rebate is provided for full payments completed in USD. * To facilitate overseas investors, the CDA offers token issuance at least one day before the auction date, with payments accepted via Roshan Digital Accounts (RDA) or local banking channels. Open Auction of Petrol Pump Sites On October 13, 2026, the CDA will offer seven distinct petrol pump sites exclusively to Registered Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs). These sites will be offered as a "single package" on a 20-year rental basis. Terms and Conditions: * The token money required to participate in the auction is 25 million. * Monthly rent will be determined through open bidding and is payable to the CDA in advance, with an annual rental escalation of 10%. * The successful OMC is permitted a maximum of 5 months for the construction and completion of the site, or completion of the site whichever is earlier. * The winning bidder will bear all expenditures related to construction, development, utilities, statutory approvals, taxes, and licensing.
