CDA Intensifies Anti-Encroachment Drive in Noorpur Shahan

ISLAMABAD: 17 December, 2025: In line with the direction of Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, comprehensive measures are being taken to eliminate illegal constructions and encroachments from the Federal Capital, Islamabad. The operation is being supervised by Deputy Director General Enforcement, Dr. Anam Fatima. In this regard, after reclaiming 712 kanals of valuable estate land from illegal occupants adjacent to the Diplomatic Enclave, actions against illegal occupants have commenced in the next phase in the Noorpur Shahan area. Similarly, various formations of CDA are also participating in this operation. In this context, staff from the Land Survey section of the Planning Wing and the Geo-Spatial Wing have also been deployed on-site to ensure the operation is completed efficiently. The ongoing anti-encroachment operation is also receiving full support from the Islamabad District Administration and Islamabad Police. In this phase, notices have been issued in accordance with the law to ensure the removal of illegal constructions and encroachments and to reclaim estate land. Likewise, a camp office has been established to resolve issues related to Built-Up Properties (BUP), land distribution, and other legitimate matters. This camp office includes officers from the Planning Wing, Land Directorate and Enforcement Directorate to ensure all facilities are provided to the residents of the area at the local level. On the instruction of Chairman CDA, the Authority is fully committed to ensuring transparency and justice during the operation. While illegal occupations on estate land are being cleared, strict legal action will be taken against individuals involved in illegal encroachments in accordance with the law. In this regard, CDA reaffirms its commitment to the complete protection of estate land and upholding the rule of law for the interest of the planned development of Islamabad. It is pertinent to mention that, on the direction of Chairman CDA, the Authority is working round the clock to ensure the elimination of illegal constructions and encroachments from the Federal Capital, Islamabad. So far, estate land worth billions rupees has been reclaimed from illegal occupants.
