ISLAMABAD: 29 December, 2025: A meeting of the Special Task Force constituted to take action against illegally residing foreign nationals was held on Monday at the CDA Headquarters under the chairmanship of Chief Commissioner Islamabad and Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA), Muhammad Ali Randhawa. The meeting was attended by IG Islamabad Police Syed Nasir Ali Rizvi, along with district administrations and police from various districts including Rawalpindi, Attock, Haripur and Murree, officers from the Ministry of Interior, NADRA, PTA and other relevant officers. The meeting reviewed the progress made so far in actions against illegally residing foreign nationals and a discussion on future strategy. The relevant officers briefed the Chief Commissioner Islamabad and Chairman CDA on the progress in this regard. During the briefing, the meeting was informed that the process of repatriating illegally residing foreign nationals from various districts is progressing rapidly. In this context, it was apprised that the majority of these individuals have been ensured voluntary return. The meeting was informed that legal action is ongoing against owners who rent out properties to illegally residing foreign nationals. Chief Commissioner Islamabad and Chairman CDA, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, said that strict measures should be taken to completely stop the movement of illegally residing foreign nationals into adjoining areas. He directed that a ban on the provision of utilities, including electricity to illegally residing foreign nationals be ensured. He further instructed that no form of accommodation or employment should be provided to them. Inspector General Islamabad Police, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, said that strict action should be taken to dismantle settlements of illegally residing. He said that strong action will also be taken against foreign nationals involved in business, medical basis, or possessing fake identity cards using forged documents. Chairman CDA said that all guest houses and property owners must ensure that no illegally residing foreign national is staying in their properties. He said that the fundamental objective of these measures is to make the country secure and provide citizens with a peaceful and tranquil environment.
