ISLAMABAD: October 14, 2025: A delegation of architects and consultants from Baku called on Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, at the CDA Headquarters. The meeting was attended by Member Engineering Syed Nafasat Raza, DG Services, and DG Building Control. During the meeting, matters of mutual interest were discussed, including potential cooperation in the ‘Asan Khidmat Markaz’ project. Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa stated that, in line with the vision of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif, and the Federal Minister for Interior, Mohsin Naqvi, he is committed to further improving the services provided to the citizens of Islamabad. He added that various measures are being taken to enhance facilities and service delivery for the public. He informed the delegation that an ‘Asan Khidmat Markaz’ is being established in Islamabad in collaboration with Azerbaijan’s State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations. The primary objective of this initiative is to ensure the provision of multiple citizen services under one roof, enabling residents to access various departmental services efficiently and conveniently. Chairman CDA said that a suitable location is currently being identified for the establishment of the ‘Asan Khidmat Markaz’, which will also support the Government of Pakistan’s cashless economy policy. He emphasized that modern technology will be fully utilized to develop the center on contemporary lines. The delegation from Baku assured their full technical cooperation for the establishment of the ‘Asan Khidmat Markaz’. They offered support in integrating public services with a modern IT system, as well as in the design and technical development of the project. The delegation reaffirmed Azerbaijan’s readiness to provide complete cooperation and technical assistance in the construction and completion of this CDA initiative. Chairman CDA highlighted that the completion of this project will further strengthen bilateral relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan. He said that the ‘Asan Khidmat Markaz’ will not only mark a significant milestone in mutual cooperation but will also prove to be a revolutionary step in public service delivery. He reiterated his commitment to fully benefit from the technical expertise and experience of Azerbaijani professionals.
