CDA's Anti Encroachment Operations in different areas of the City

Islamabad: November 28, 2022: On the instructions of CDA Chairman Captain (retd) Muhammad Usman Yunus, DG Enforcement has directed the Anti-Encroachment Squad to encroach outside the plot line in the urban areas of Islamabad in which fences are iron. Earlier in this regard, the citizens of Islamabad issued orders to remove the grills and barbed wire and the illegal lawns built on the CDA land and to clear the public corridors from encroachments as well as to demolish the illegal constructions in the rural area. Notices were issued, today operations were carried out in different sectors of Islamabad, in which sector. In G-8, G-9, I-8, F-7, and rural areas, the constructions were demolished and the illegal lawns were destroyed and 4 truckloads of Goods were confiscated and 5 kanals of land were handed over.

Details Sector G-9/2 Demolished 1 room and washroom on government land outside Government Blocks. Then Sector G-9/3 where several fences and lawns were demolished outside the plot line It was done at Sector G-8 Jhelum Road, where fences and lawns outside the plot line of the houses were removed and 1 kanal of land was handed over and 1 truck of goods was seized. Dead End, which was being occupied under the guise of beutification on about 4 Kanals, by taking immediate action, the occupation was thwarted by knocking down the construction wall.

Similarly, operations against encroachments were carried out in the centers, in which 1 truckload of goods was seized by removing encroachments from the road and public passage in Sector I-8. 2 trucks of goods were removed and confiscated. For this purpose, as per the instructions of Chairman (Cattle Development Authority) Captain (Retired) Mohammad Usman Yunus, DG Enforcement has also sent letters to all the centers and representatives of Markets Union in Islamabad to end the encroachments. DG Enforcement says that the anti-encroachment operations will be made more stringent in the coming days and encroachments will be eliminated from public corridors and markets in markets and centers as well.
