Activities against encroachments and illegal constructions, relinquishment of 5 kanals of government lands

Islamabad: January 10, 2022: On the direction of the management of the Federal Development Agency (Capital Development Authority), the Department of Enforcement on Monday in different areas of Islamabad with the help of the district administration and Islamabad Police encroachments and Numerous operations were carried out to eradicate illegal constructions in which several illegal constructions and encroachments were demolished with the help of heavy machinery and 5 kanals of government lands were handed over thwarting the attempt to occupy government lands.

According to the details, these operations were started from Bheka Syedan ‚Äč‚Äčlocated in Sector F-11/4 of Islamabad where thwarting the attempt to occupy government lands, 4 illegal rooms, 5 four walls, 2 hotels, 1 shop, 1 The junkyard and one illegal shed were demolished with the help of heavy machinery and government lands were relinquished.

Furthermore, outside a residential house in Sector F-7/4 of Islamabad, a landlord had crossed the plot line and erected illegal fences on more than five kanals of government land on which the Enforcement Department took timely action and heavy machinery. Illegal four walls were demolished and five kanals of government land were relinquished.

On this occasion, the CDA administration said that protection of government lands is our top priority and no concessions will be made from the occupation mafia and these measures are aimed at keeping Islamabad free from illegal constructions and encroachments.

It should be noted that for the last several months, the CDA has been conducting continuous operations against encroachments and illegal constructions in the federal capital, from which billions of rupees of government lands have been relinquished.
