Portrait of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah installed at Expressway.

ISLAMABAD: Upon the special directions of Chairman CDA, iron grill has been installed round the portrait of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah at Expressway. Main purpose of the grill is to ensure the protection of the portrait. Features showing history and culture of Pakistan have been added. Different lights have been installed to highlight the portrait further. 
Prior to this, portrait was damaged due to no fencing. However, CDA has completed work on fence round the new portrait of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah at Expressway. This fence will ensure safety of the portrait. Designs on grill showing culture and history of Pakistan were prepared by Jamal Shah. Different lights have been installed which will make the portrait more attractive during the night time. 2 mm iron sheet has been used for making the portrait of Quaid. Portrait is 50 ft long and 59 ft wide. Features of Rohtas fort have also been added.
