ARGENTINOSAURUS, meaning “Argentina Lizard”

SIZE:Argentinosaurus at between 30–35 metres (98–115 ft) in length and with a weight of up to 80–100 tons.

  • Argentinosaurus may be the largest dinosaur. It had a long neck, a long tail, and a small head.
  • Argentinosaurus remains were first discovered by a man named Guillermo Heredia in Argentina.
  • As it was herbivore, it did not need to hunt. Something that did hunt it was the legendary Giganotosaurus which may have been the second biggest meat-eater that ever roamed the earth.
