CDA expedited work on Park Enclave

Islamabad, March 07, 2013: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has expedited the development work of Park Enclave Housing Scheme as the boundary wall of the project is near completion and the earth work is being done to gear up the development activity. The authority has also floated tenders for construction of gate house, security pickets and ornamental gates of the Park Enclave.

Chairman CDA, Syed Tahir Shahbaz visited the Park Enclave here on Thursday to inspect the development work being carried out by the Machine Pool Organization Directorate of the authority and that of the boundary wall being constructed by the contractor. On this occasion, Member Engineering, Sanaullah Aman, Member Environment, Dr. Kazim Niaz and senior officers of the engineering wing were also present.

Chairman CDA directed the engineering wing for early completion of the project as it has already been delayed due to some technical and procedural reasons. Chairman CDA was apprised that the issues retarding the development of Park Enclave, has been resolved and the project would be developed on fast track basis to meet the deadline. Park Enclave is an environment friendly housing scheme on Park Road of Islamabad. CDA has ensured the possession of the scheme through construction of the boundary wall. Chairman CDA said that sufficient funds are available for the development of the scheme and all the relevant formations of the authority should make coordinated efforts for early development of the scheme.

He said that the whole area of the Park Enclave has already been demarcated. He said the Park Enclave would have underground utilities, water treatment plant, rainwater harvesting mechanism, open air restaurants, club house and controlled access at main gate. 

The Park Enclave is the only environmental friendly model housing scheme in the heart of the Islamabad -the Green City. The scheme has vital significance as it is Ideally located just only 4 km from Islamabad Club having intersection of two 600 wide Roads, conveniently accessible from all major roads such as Kashmir Highway, Park Road, Lehtrar Road, Kuri Road & Islamabad Highway.
