She
started her career as Lecturer in Govt. College
for Women Samanabad Lahore. Her first regular
appointment by Punjab Directorate of Education
being Lecturer in History was in Govt. College For
Women Shekhopura. She was interviewed and selected
as Lecturer in English under UNESCO in 1984.
During
her stay in Algeria she extensively toured a great
part of Sahara Desert and visited Tlimsan, Wahran,
Gardia, Jalfa and Laughuat to have first hand
knowledge of Education System of the country. She
visited Rome, Cairo, London, Paris, Geneva and
Jaddah to have practical knowledge of local
communities and social setup. She joined CDA Model
School in March 1986
